I was reading and watching some very educational material about the cycle of abuse.
I learned that an abused child grows up to be one of 3 things as an adult:
1) A violent abuser
2) A dysfunctional victim
3) Or a survivor who seeks help and breaks the cycle of abuse ...often to the derision of their family and friends and society who dismiss them as irrational or hysterical.

I know what it 's like to be abandoned and live in group homes and to not feel like you are part of a real family. I am a former foster child. I was abused in foster hell. I would like the system reformed for future generations.
On June 18, 1991: The Timmins Children’s Aid came into my life. I was placed in a foster home at age 3. My mother would abuse and neglect me.
On October 9, 1998: at 10 years old, I was placed in northern lights Programs group home. I was abused by other children while in this group home. I complained to staff but they ignored my complaints. I was abused by Nickolas Martin.
In the year of 2009: I read on the Sudbury Star that Mr. Martin killed Jeffrey Mason and that he was also in other troubles with the criminal laws in Sudbury, Ontario.

On March 24, 2014 I was invited to join this new Class Action Lawsuit. On March 24, 2014 I attended a media conference at Queen's Park in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Lee Bolton invited me to attend that media conference.
I would like the compensation to be used exclusively on therapy and education.
I am the survivor who breaks the cycle of abuse. I feel so hurt that my own aunt and grandmother and uncles choose to dismiss me as irrational or hysterical or crazy.
